Qualifications

The City of Kearney Sanitation Department is looking for a hard-working individual to join their team! Duties include, perform manual labor in the collection of solid waste and operate noncomplex equipment and machinery incidental to the manual labor tasks. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to completion of eighth grade and one year of motorized equipment (non CDL) operation; must possess a valid Nebraska driver’s license. The City offers full benefits which includes a $500 sign-on bonus, 12 paid holidays, health/dental insurance, 6% 401A Retirement Match, clothing and boots allowance and much more.
