Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator

Qualifications

The City of Kearney Utilities Department is seeking a detailed orientated individual who can perform skilled and manual labor work in the operation of the City’s wastewater treatment plant and lift stations. General maintenance experience, electrical experience preferred; ability to obtain a Nebraska Class I Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator certification within one year; possession of or obtain a valid Nebraska commercial driver’s license (CDL Class B) with tanker and air brake endorsements, within three (3) months of appointment.
