Development Council for Buffalo County Welcomes New Board Members

The Development Council for Buffalo County is pleased to announce the addition of five distinguished professionals to its Board of Directors, and the appointment of new officers.

New directors include:

• Kimber Bonner, Vice President of Patient Care Services, CHI Health Good Samaritan
• Nick Ridgeway, Shareholder, Jacobsen Orr 
• Kurt Schmidt, City Council, City of Kearney
• Jason Tate, Division Engineering Manager, Parker Hannifin
• Jon Watts, Regional General Manager, Allo Fiber

Jerry Hellman, Partner at Hellman, Main, Coslor & Kathol, P.C., will serve as the Chair of the Board in 2025. Sherry Morrow, County Commissioner at the Buffalo County Board of Commissioners, will remain as Vice Chair. Brad Wegner, President of Midlands Contracting, will act as the Secretary/Treasurer.

“These new members and appointees bring a wealth of experience and expertise that will be invaluable in guiding the Council's mission to foster economic growth and community development in Buffalo County,” said Trevor Lee, President of the Development Council for Buffalo County. “We have experienced significant growth over the past three years and have modernized the work that we do.
