CENTRAL CITY, Neb. — Nebraska's an agricultural powerhouse and the numbers back it up. Whether you call it the Beef State or the Cornhusker State, both titles fit as the new Census of Agriculture shows farms and thriving.

While the crew restores an old John Deere tractor his grandpa would've used, Mark McHargue and his son Andrew check out the combine that allows them to harvest thousands of acres.

At age 57, the Nebraska Farm Bureau president, at least statistically is average according to the newly released USDA Census of Agriculture.
