Development Council Set to Welcome Amanda Polacek as Director of Operations & Marketing

KEARNEY, NE – The Development Council for Buffalo County is delighted to announce the appointment of Amanda Polacek as the new Director of Operations & Marketing.

In her new role, Amanda will work closely with the President on a range of economic development initiatives, including business recruitment, retention, and expansion, housing, and property development and re-development.

Amanda brings valuable knowledge and experience to the position, having served nearly six years at Kearney Regional Medical Center as the Marketing Manager & Volunteer Coordinator. Her professional journey also includes meaningful contributions at the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce and the Nebraska Community Foundation.

Amanda will join Development Council President Trevor Lee and Office and Compliance Coordinator Kelsey Knehans on February 10th. We are excited about the skills and enthusiasm she will bring to our organization and look forward to her contributions to the ongoing economic growth and development of Buffalo County.
